Oh Noel! I'm so proud of the little, determined girl you've become. So stubborn and hard-working.
You didn't know what to ask Santa for this year. You sat on his lap and talked with him about his reindeer and other Christmassy magical things. But Santa knew. He figured it out. And for Christmas, there sat Kit Kittridge-the American Girl Doll that you so badly wanted! HOW DID HE KNOW?
This evening, you and Bodie took a fun bath. That's a bath where you don't wash your hair, but just play. I sat in the family room and listened to you splashing and giggling. My favorite time of day has always been bath time. Sometimes, when I didn't know what else to do, I would put you in the bath. Even when you were a tiny girl. Or when we lived in Farmington and had the "step bath", all three of us would climb in and play in the tub. Bodie was just a tiny baby and he LOVED being in the tub with his sissy. That's where he first laughed. In the tub with you!
You are working so hard at reading. The last few nights you have stumbled your way through 8 books. You are supposed to read 40 of them by the end of January. At this rate, I think we'll make it.
